8:14 PM - Crowded Haewundae Beach



Haewundae Beach in the southern port city of Busan is literally jampacked with 800,000 people on July 24, 2005 as the temperature rose to well over 30 degrees Celcius in most areas of the nation. About 10 people were drowned to death or died as a result of record summer heat over the weekend as the temperature recorded over 35 degrees Celcius in some parts of the nation.

The carcass of a six-foot American alligator is protruding from the mid-section of a 13-foot Burmese python Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 in Everglades National Park, Fla., after the snake apparently swallowed the alligator resulting in the deaths of both animals.

The largest pond in the cave was found at Woljeongri, Gujuaeup, North Jeju County on Jeju Island Oct. 13, 2005. It was named "Millennium Lake." An excavation team said that the lake is 200 meter long and 15 meter wide and it is 15 meters deep.
